Technology Reflection Term 2 Week 7

Today we were making Quiches for technology, there were four steps to making Quiches. Before we started making our Quiches we had to get into peers, Taking our netbooks our techbooks in to a room in the back, put on a apron, wash our hands and get two towels, a sponge and soap for cleaning and drying the equipment that we use.

The first step that we had to do was get a chopping board a sharp knife and pastry, after you got your pastry you had to cut it into twelve equal pieces and put it into a cupcake tray. Then you need to get four to five streaks of ham ( depending on how many Quiches you are making ) the you cut it all into little pieces and put it into the pastry in the middle of it and add some cheese if you want to. After you have done that whisk four eggs in a bowl and add half a cup of Milk into your mixture and whisk away until it is a yellow colour, then pour it into your pastry with your cheese and ham. Then you need to put it in an oven for fifteen minutes on 180 c, after fifteen minutes you need to put it on something to let it cool down.

How to make Quiches :

Step 1 : - cut the pastry into 12 pieces. Paste into muffin tray

Step 2 : - Dice ham

Step 3: - Add ham and cheese into the muffin tray

Step 4 : - Whisk 4 eggs, with half cup of milk bake 180 c for 15 minutes

Technology reflection

Yesterday we had Technology and every term in week four each group changes and goe to learn another thing, there is hard materials, graphic and cooking. The first thing that me and my group were learning washard materials, we learnt how to make pewter castings and pendants last term. Yesterday was the day that we changed our group went to cooking and the first thing that we did was learn all the objects in the kitchen and what they are used for. And then we got to the fun part of technology COOKING ! we started to make hot cakes - ( Pancakes ) and we were all in peers and we all had our own kitchen and table to use for cooking and writing down the instructions.

It took each of the groups around twenty minutes to finish their pancakes and after that time each group had around eight to ten pancakes. After you had made the pancakes you would have to half them with your partner and depending on how many pancakes you had made you would be having a very nice brunch - ( late breakfast - early lunch ). And to finish it of Mrs Tuipulotu would come to each table and put whip cream and chocolate sauce on your pancakes to give it extra flavour.

Hi today for technology we were making mini versions of what we want our clocks to look like and what we want them to be.To try and sort our which clock we want to make we made two different types and now we are trying to decide which one we want to make the most.For me I wanted to make a eight ball or a baymax head the reason why I picked these two things is because I really like baymax and cartoons and I really like to play pool in my spare time.Another couple of reasons why I like the two ideas is because one is really wacky and cartoony and the other one represents a game that I like to play.
Something that I think That I did well today was help everyone that needed help and next week I am planing to try help and try to get my clock done to the highest standard it can be.

Technology Clock making

Hi today for technology we were deciding how what kind of clock that we want to make.We are allowed to make it any kind of shape that we want as long as the clock mechanism in not seen and it works.The clock mechanism is a little square that help move the clocks hands around.For my clock I want to make it look like baymax because I really like cartoons and he looks like a big walking marshmallow I also wanted to make this to give to my brother because he has been asking for I clock for a long time. 

Technology Clock Project

Today for technology we were making google drawings to show the things that we like and different types of clock's.If you're thinking why different types of clocks it is because we are making clocks that we like and they we want it to look like.One thing That I think that I did very well was get the work done and next week I will try to help people with their work if they need help.
