Matariki Celebrations T2W8

Hi today for self management I finished my matariki celebration DLO that was about what is happening to celebrate matariki and what we could do to celebrate matariki.One of my ideas that I thought that my class could do to celebrate matariki was we could have a fun day and decorate our class in maori patterns and maori decorations.

Hi today for whakatauki it was Ka kitea a matariki ke rere te korokoro (At the time of matariki it is time to move and have a new start and a new year.It is also A time for people to start making new goals and start making new ones.

Technology

Hi today for technology we were making mini versions of what we want our clocks to look like and what we want them to be.To try and sort our which clock we want to make we made two different types and now we are trying to decide which one we want to make the most.For me I wanted to make a eight ball or a baymax head the reason why I picked these two things is because I really like baymax and cartoons and I really like to play pool in my spare time.Another couple of reasons why I like the two ideas is because one is really wacky and cartoony and the other one represents a game that I like to play.
Something that I think That I did well today was help everyone that needed help and next week I am planing to try help and try to get my clock done to the highest standard it can be.

Room 10's Sugar Songs!

Hi today me and my class were performing our sugar raps that we made up about "That Sugar Film" and what we got from it.The thing that I got from the film was that sugar ins't all bad because it can give you calories but at the same time it could help you like when you go for a run you can eat some to give you energy.

Lego maths

Today for maths we were making maths lego fractions like if our questions was you have to make something showing that you understand thirds.You would have to make something like this to show that you understand what the question is asking you to do.

Technology Clock making

Hi today for technology we were deciding how what kind of clock that we want to make.We are allowed to make it any kind of shape that we want as long as the clock mechanism in not seen and it works.The clock mechanism is a little square that help move the clocks hands around.For my clock I want to make it look like baymax because I really like cartoons and he looks like a big walking marshmallow I also wanted to make this to give to my brother because he has been asking for I clock for a long time. 

Technology Clock Project

Today for technology we were making google drawings to show the things that we like and different types of clock's.If you're thinking why different types of clocks it is because we are making clocks that we like and they we want it to look like.One thing That I think that I did very well was get the work done and next week I will try to help people with their work if they need help.
